Lead Cook/Kitchen Supervisor - Full Time Position
Fast Paced restaurant with high volume of take out in need of a lead role in the back of the house. Experience managing staff and working behind the line a must.  Pizza experience highly preferred.  Duties to include but not limited to

•    Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
•    Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
•    Managing & Prepping inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service, fresh and of high quality
•    Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
•    Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements.
•    Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
•    Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
•    Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
•    Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
•    Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
•    Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
•    Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
•    Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
•    Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward
•    Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
•    Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Owner
